This is hot in Chengdu. Everywhere you find this sort of restaurants. You buy a pot with a sort of soup (normally quite spicy, but this is a non-spicy one); in the soup are allready lot's of ingredients. With it you buy several other things you can put in (meat, fish, vegetables, mushrooms) to cook. Some of the soup you can drink at the end.
After getting the cooked ingredients out, you dip them in your bowl. We had oil in our bowls. After dipping the temperature of the food drops and you can eat it.
